Eid Mubarak to all members, well wishers, friends and supporters of World Forum for Srilankan Muslims.
May the blessings of Almighty be with all of you and your families.
Each year We are filled with awe on seeing the dedication and reverence given by all generations within the holy month of Ramadan. This Ramadan has been like no other, with no communal prayers, visits to mosques, Iftaris nor extended get togethers. There has been much uncertainty of what tomorrow holds and sadly for some, immense loss of loved ones, along with concerns for loved ones who carry on working, in order to support community needs. Despite all this, We have seen immense resilience and many more prayers being said. We have seen the selfless efforts of so many who have volunteered to support others, whilst fasting themselves. This Eid, We pray your prayers have been accepted and peace and good health is showered upon all. Wishing you and your loved ones a happy Eid, and thinking of all those who have passed but will live on, in our hearts.
warmest wishes from World Forum Team
And the members of the Steering Committee
