Covid-19 deceased to be buried in Iranativu (Video)

The Government has decided to bury Covid-19 victims in the Iranaitivu island in the Kilinochchi District, Cabinet Spokesman Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said.

Speaking today (02) at the weekly cabinet briefing, the minister said that the decision was taken during the discussion held yesterday, regarding the action being taken in this regard.

Commenting further, he said, “Preliminary work in the area has been completed and arrangements are being made to receive [COVID-19 victims’] bodies.He also said that the burial of the Covid-19 deceased will take place with state funds.
